Why We Are Looking Forward To Driverless Cars

Even though cars that drive themselves remain distant possibilities, there are groups of motorists who, without knowing it themselves, have already been looking forward to the automated vehicle. After all, these groups constantly have to divide their time and attention between the menial task of driving and impossibly important routines such as applying makeup, shaving, clipping nails, reading newspapers, or eating. Let us not forget the ubiquitous texting. If only they could hire someone to drive their car for them! But a chauffeur would have been way too expensive and immoral.
